S&P Global NetAdvantage

On Monday, August 21st, the library will update from S&P Net Advantage to S&P Global NetAdvantage. The database will expand from 11,000 publicly traded companies to over 100,000 companies including private company information. The new interface provides new data sets though still maintains content from the previous platform (i.e. Industry Surveys).

10:00 a.m. – 1:00 a.m.

The library and university are closed on Monday, September 4th (Labor Day); Thursday, November 23rd (Thanksgiving); and Friday, November 24th (day after Thanksgiving).

Archives closed 8/4 – 8/14

Archives and Special Collections will be closed August 4th – 14th. The department will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 15th.

ProQuest databases – access restored

Access to the ProQuest platform has been restored.

ProQuest databases are currently down due to a power outage at ProQuest headquarters. They are working to fix the outage across their multiple product platforms.

We’ll update this post when their databases are available.

ILLiad upgrade downtime

Library closed July 3rd and 4th

The university will be closed on Monday, July 3, and Tuesday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. Summer hours will resume on Wednesday, July 5th.

Interim roles

Janet Lee, Dean of the Library, will be a Fulbright Scholar in Ethiopia from September 1, 2017 – June 30, 2018. Tom Riedel will serve as Interim Dean of the Regis University Library and Paul Betty will serve as acting head of the Research & Instruction Department. We expect to hire a 9 month temporary Research & Instruction Librarian also. Thanks to Tom and Paul for their willingness to serve in these roles during Janet’s absence.
