Current technical issues

We are experiencing technical/access issues with the following resources. We’ll update this post as the issues resolve or as there is more information.

Bizminer – ACCESS RESTORED
They are experiencing an unexpected service outage due to host server issues beyond their control. The host is working to resolve the issues.

PsychiatryOnline – users connecting remotely via the mobile interface to PsychiatryOnline may not be able to access all content that the library subscribes to. We are working with technical support at American Psychiatric Publishing to resolve the issue.

ProQuest downtime this weekend

January 23, 2017

ProQuest databases will be unavailable due to maintenance upgrades Saturday, January 28th, beginning at 8:00 p.m.. The downtime is expected to last until Sunday, January 29th, at 4:00 a.m.

New students experiencing remote access issues

As of earlier today, all current students should be able to remotely connect to library databases. Please contact the Research Help Desk if you continue to experience an issue.

New students are experiencing issues with remote access to library databases. The issue has been identified and ITS is working to resolve it.

New students are able to connect to the electronic reserves system, however may have issues accessing course articles if the article is linked in a library database.

We will update this post when the issue is resolved. Please contact the Research Help Desk for assistance.

Library closed January 16th

January 11, 2017

The university is closed on January 16th in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. day. We’ll reopen at 7:00 a.m. on January 17th.

Shared Shelf downtime this weekend

January 10, 2017

Shared Shelf will be unavailable this Friday, January 13th, beginning at 10:00 p.m. for network maintenance. Access is expected to be restored by 4:00 a.m. January 14th.

Library computers & printers briefly unavailable Jan. 11

January 9, 2017

All library computers and printers will be offline Wednesday morning from 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. for server updates. Carroll Hall labs will be open.

Delayed start January 5th

January 5, 2017

Northwest Denver, Thornton, and Denver Tech Center campuses are on a delayed start due to inclement weather. The campuses will have a delayed start of 10:30 a.m. on January 5, 2017.

Remote access issues – resolved

January 4, 2017

Issues are now resolved.

There are currently issues connecting to many university systems, including the library’s proxy server, Colleague, and WebAdvisor. ITS is aware of the issues and working to resolve them. We will post an update here when we have more information.

Monday – Thursday
7:00 a.m. – 1:00 a.m.

Friday
7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Saturday
9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Sunday
10:00 a.m. – 1:00 a.m.

The library and university are closed on January 16th (Martin Luther King, Jr. day), April 14th (Good Friday), and April 16th (Easter Sunday).
