Meet our new staff: Denisse Solis

February 17, 2016

Denisse Solis is the administrative assistant to the Dean of the Library. She was born and raised in Southern California and moved to Denver when she was in high school. She graduated from the University of Colorado at Denver with a degree in Psychology. She currently lives in North Denver with her husband and 4 year old son. Denisse loves to read, swim and cook. She currently has two dogs: Cono, an oversized German Sheppard, and a dwarf Jack Russell Terrier named Crush. She would love to adopt another dog soon. She absolutely loves to travel and has visited Cuba, France, Germany, England, and Mexico. When Denisse was 4 years old, Madonna filmed the music video “La Isla Bonita” behind the house she was born in. Madonna and the director asked Denisse’s family to dance with her; Denisse was so shy at that age she refused and now it is the biggest regret of her life!
