A Slice of Life – new exhibit for June

June 5, 2014

A Slice of Life features “slice quilts,” in which each participant decided on an image. Many chose a personal photograph. The photographs were simplified into line drawings, which were enlarged and cut into sections. On a rotation, each member of the group worked on a section of another’s quilt with the owner finishing the last section and completing the quilt.

The exhibit is on display for the month of June in the fireplace lounge of the Dayton Memorial Library.
