ERIC document availability

Currently many documents are unavailable from ERIC. ERIC took down a significant amount of content because they discovered sensitive personal information, such as social security numbers, in older ERIC documents. They are in the process of reviewing every document to strip out any sensitive or personal information before reposting on their servers. The full explanation from ERIC is available here.

For ERIC documents that are currently unavailable, please request them through the library’s interlibrary loan service. We have agreements with other libraries and our interlibrary loan department has been able to obtain copies of the ERIC materials relatively quickly. Alternatively, some of the documents have also been published as books so they may be available through Prospector or Google.

EBSCOhost maintenance, Friday Oct. 26th

Beginning at 5:00 a.m. MST on Friday, October 26, 2012 certain EBSCOhost functionality will be unavailable for about one hour due to planned maintenance. Please note that EBSCOhost will continue to be available during this brief interval, however there will be intermittent interrupted access for the following functionality:

• Personal User Authentication
• Checkout and Download of eBooks
• Alerts
• Access to My EBSCOhost folder items or the ability to save items to personalized folders from session

Lumen downtime on October 19th

Lumen, the library’s online catalog, will be unavailable starting at 9:00 p.m. MST on Friday, October 19th, due to server maintenance. We expect services to be back online by 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 20th. You may use the Prospector catalog to locate Regis materials during this downtime.

Monday, October 8
7:30 a.m. – 2:00 a.m.

Tuesday, October 9
7:30 a.m. – 2:00 a.m.

Wednesday, October 10
7:30 a.m. – 2:00 a.m.

Thursday, October 11
7:30 a.m. – midnight

Friday, October 12
8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Prospector and RUDR access restored

October 1, 2012

All Colorado Alliance services have been restored including access to Prospector and RUDR. They had a network outage earlier, and services are now restored.

The main Internet connection is currently down for the Colorado Alliance services, which include Prospector and the Regis University Digital Repository (RUDR). They are working with their network providers to restore services as soon as possible and apologize for the inconvenience.
