Lumen downtime 6/2/12

May 30, 2012

Lumen (the Regis Library online catalog) will be unavailable beginning at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 2nd. Our vendor will be performing maintenance on their server infrastructure and we expect the downtime will last about 4 hours.

Our holdings will be searchable in the Prospector catalog during the downtime, however users will be unable to place holds on Regis items through Prospector. Item status will not update in real time until the maintenance is complete.

Update:

Prospector has now been fully restored as of 11:00 a.m. MST. If you notice any anomalies or run into problems, please let us know.

This morning (5/21) the Alliance experienced a massive disk drive failure on their Prospector server. They are having new disks delivered this evening and will then need to get them installed. Prospector will be down all day today and tomorrow (5/22) while this rebuilding takes place.

Prospector is currently unavailable. The Alliance is having some hardware problems with Prospector and is working to resolve the problems. We do not have an estimate as to how long this will take. We will update this post as we have more information.
