DML extended hours for finals

The library will be open the following hours for finals week:

Sunday, April 29th
12:30 p.m. – 3:00 a.m.

Monday, April 30th – Wednesday, May 2nd
6:30 a.m. – 3:00 a.m.

Thursday, May 3rd
6:30 a.m. – 12:00 midnight

Friday, May 4th
6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Saturday, May 5th
8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Summer hours begin on Sunday, May 6th.

Friends Don’t Let Friends Cite Wikipedia

Academic research papers require academic sources. Sure, you might use Wikipedia to get general information on a topic, or even to look at its references, but it’s never a good idea to cite it. Instead, get started on your research with online subject encyclopedias in:

April exhibits

There is a new exhibit displayed in the lobby of the Dayton Memorial Library by a group of Regis College students. The socially minded art club is called “The Justice League of Arts”. As one of their first events, they are having an art show against violence towards women. The exhibit will be on display for a few days this week (week of April 2nd).

The Hartman Galley will be displaying the Calligraphers Art this year as well. The opening reception is scheduled for Thursday, April 5th, at 4:30 p.m.
