EBSCOhost access restored

March 27, 2012

Access to the EBSCOhost databases appears to be restored. Any further updates will be posted here.

—————————————
EBSCO is performing an upgrade on their admin system which is affecting access to databases on the EBSCOhost platform. Due to routine maintenance currently underway, we are experiencing temporary service interruptions for EBSCOhost.

Databases on the EBSCOhost platform include Academic Search Premier, Business Source Complete, CINAHL, ERIC, and PsycINFO.

Their engineering team is working on this top priority to restore service as soon as possible. We do not know how long their databases might be inaccessible; it appears there is some intermittent access. We will post an update here when access is fully restored and apologize for any inconvenience.

Irish Denver publication celebration

March 7, 2012

On March 15th at 4:30 p.m. there will be a publication celebration for Irish Denver in the fireplace lounge of the Dayton Memorial Library. Dennis Gallagher and James Walsh (Affiliate Faculty) will talk about their new book that they co-wrote with Tom Noel. The book is a pictoral history of Irish people and culture in Denver and Colorado, and much of it deals with the history of Regis. Fr. Sheeran wrote the forward and there are at least 5 photos of Regis in the book.

Light refreshments will be provided.
