The Right Place at the Right Time

A collection of images by Nicole Marcisz will be on display in the Doyle & Margaret Hartman Gallery during July. Nicole currently works at Regis as an instructional designer for the department of Learning Technologies in the Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions.

Nicole has been taking pictures since she was about nine years old. She attended Columbia College in Chicago for a Bachelor’s degree in photography and digital imaging. She has worked in the field of graphic design for about 8 years, and then transitioned into teaching graphic design at Purdue University-–Calumet, in Hammond, Indiana. Primarily she taught image editing with Photoshop as well as visual communication and beginning graphic design. Shortly after that she pursued a degree in Instructional Design and Technology. Photography and travel continue to be serious hobbies she enjoys.

A special opening reception is scheduled for Thursday, July 7th from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.

July 4th closure

The Dayton Memorial Library will be closed on Monday, July 4th for the Independence Day holiday. Regular hours resume on Tuesday, July 5th.

Alternate interface for Business Source Complete

An alternate Business Searching Interface is available that makes some of the unique content of Business Source Complete more visible for searching. It provides the same rich content but displays different publication types near the top.

The Business Source Complete database is a rich combination of articles from 1,800 scholarly journals and 1,700 trade periodicals, plus 17,000 company profiles, 3,000 SWOT analyses, 18,000 industry reports, and many additional market research reports, country economic reports, executive interviews, reference books, and business faculty seminars.

Both interfaces are available through the A – Z Database list and you have the opportunity to rate each interface.
