Can You See Me?

October 25, 2010

Keep an eye on the Dayton Memorial Library. During the month of November, the library will host an exhibit of artwork by Regis students, faculty and local artists celebrating diversity.

“Can You See Me?” asks us to explore what things in ourselves and our culture we are willing to look at and what things we would prefer to remain hidden. It invites us to see things that we might normally disregard or are not willing to see in our culture, society, campus, or within ourselves. The exhibit will be in the Hartman Gallery.

An opening reception will be held on Thursday, November 11th from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. in the fireplace lounge.

On Tuesday, November 16th, as part of the celebration of Diversity Week, there will be an artists’ talk in the library from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the fireplace lounge.
