Among the archival papers of Regis professor, Armand W. Forestall, S.J., were over fifty-five unlabeled glass negatives. Images retrieved from these negatives include scenes of the early Regis campuses, its classrooms, and student athletic programs. There are also enigmatic pictures that suggest the nineteenth-century Europe of his childhood, and early Jesuit training. The fragility of what has been saved from these glass negatives, and their haunting beauty is the highlight of this exhibit.
The exhibit is on display in the Doyle Hartman Gallery, 2nd Floor, Dayton Memorial Library from Wed., July 1 through Wed., July 28, 2010.
